Privacy Policy
This policy explains how International Travel Planning collects, uses, and shares information when you browse the website, create or use an account, join the newsletter list, or follow an affiliate link.
Information we collect
- Account information: your name, email address, password hash, account role, and authentication/session information when you register or log in. We do not store your plain-text password.
- Newsletter information: your email address, consent status, consent time, and signup source when you join the list.
- Usage and device information: pages viewed, referring pages, interactions, browser/device details, approximate location derived from an IP address, and similar measurement data collected through Google Analytics and ordinary server logs.
- Affiliate referral information: when you follow a disclosed affiliate link, G Adventures, Impact, SafetyWing, Amazon, or related service providers may use link parameters, cookies, or similar identifiers to attribute a referral and measure a qualifying transaction.
How we use information
We use information to operate and secure the website; create, authenticate, and support accounts; maintain newsletter consent records and send updates when newsletter delivery is available; understand site performance and reader interests; detect misuse; comply with legal obligations; and measure disclosed affiliate referrals.
Cookies and similar technologies

Your choices
